This removes CCleaner from the launch when you start up. Relock.Ħ) Now, open the terminal again and enter these commands in this order. Then select the CCleaner entry and click the minus button to remove CCleaner's full disk access. Click the unlock (and enter your password). You can stop here.ĥ) You might want to go to > System Preferences> Security and Privacy then select Full Disk Access. (You'll probably need to enter your password.)Ĥ) At this point, you should be able to drop the CCleaner into the Trash to remove it. For each number type (where 1234 is one of processe numbers): sudo kill -9 1234 Type this in: ps -A | grep ccleaner | awk ''ģ) This should return a couple of numbers which are associated to ccleaner. This is how you find the PID numbers associated with the processes. Try this:ġ) Open up the Terminal application in Applications>Utilities.Ģ) You'll need to shut off all the related processes before manualy removing the application.
